General Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of these Terms – By browsing on the website you are deemed to have accepted these terms. Specifically, when registering on the maktechict.co.za website you must tick that you have read and acknowledged these Terms and Conditions (T&Cs)

You must be 18 years or older to use this Website. Should you be under 18 you must use the site with the consent and guidance of your parents or legal guardian.

This site is for your personal use only. You may not use the site for any commercial purposes, maktechict.co.za sells directly to the public only.

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase and all orders are concluded by your acceptance of the items on delivery. All payments are immediate and final, and orders will only be processed once payment is received. However, receiving payment does not indicate acceptance of the order.

maktechict.co.za may, at its discretion refuse any orders or registrations or cancel any orders and registrations for any reason.

The website may contain links to third-party websites, such as manufacturers, distributors etc. maktechict.co.za has no control over these third-party sites and is not responsible for the content on them.

For pages that include YouTube videos, you agree to accept the YouTube Terms of Service.

The website is provided as-is, and the use of the site is at your own risk. Neither maktechict.co.za, its Directors, Employees, Agents, Service Providers or Suppliers are responsible for any damages or loss resulting from or relating to, the use of any aspect of the site, or products sold from it.

Registration

Registration is free, and without obligation to buy. Adding items to your cart or wishlist does not constitute a sale. A sales agreement between us and you only occurs when you checkout and pay for your purchases.
Use of the site is at the discretion of maktechict.co.za. All rights are reserved and we reserve the right to discontinue service to any person(s) at our discretion.

Pricing
The prices indicated on maktechict.co.za are the prices you will pay for the particular item at this time. When you checkout with an item your price is fixed, and will not change even if the product’s price goes up or down.

Delivery Charges apply and will be added to your order during the checkout phase. These delivery charges are dependant on the current courier rates, the value of your parcel and the location being delivered to, 4 – 6 weeks for delivery and pricing is subject to exchange rate.

Pricing Errors

Should an error occur with pricing maktechict.co.za reserves the right to cancel an order and refund any amount paid for it. We accept no obligation to honour the prices erroneously displayed on our website. Should an error occur where the price is too high for an item, the difference between the price you paid, and the current price of the item, may be credited to your maktechict.co.za account, if it is reported on the same day as the original order.

Product Information

All information on the site is provided by maktechict.co.za, or is licenced from various licence holders. You may only use this information to assist in learning more about any particular product. You may not store or reuse this information for any commercial purpose.

While every effort is made to ensure that all information on maktechict.co.za is accurate, we are reliant on third parties such as suppliers, manufacturers or licence holders. As such we accept no responsibility for any errors in the information.

You may not use any form of automated search or download technology to access this site unless with prior permission from us.

Age Restrictions

Where appropriate the age restrictions or guidelines are listed for each product. You are solely responsible for ensuring that these restrictions or guidelines are adhered to. maktechict.co.za accepts no responsibility, or liability, for any failure to adhere to the restrictions for items purchased from our website.

Images are used on the site for illustration purposes only. The image may not be an accurate representation of the actual product. maktechict.co.za accepts no responsibility for the image on the site not being the same as the actual product.

You may not link directly to any of our images. Nor may you download the images for your own re-use or for any commercial use whatsoever.

Deliveries

maktechict.co.za delivers to addresses within South Africa. All deliveries are via courier to a physical address. maktechict.co.za reserves the right to amend our delivery policies, prices and services without notice.
Where our couriers are unable to deliver a parcel to you, for any reason, we will be advised and will contact you to attempt delivery again,4 – 6 weeks for delivery and pricing is subject to exchange rate

Delays

Whilst every effort to ensure that accurate shipping estimates are provided on the website, we cannot assure that all items will arrive within said time. Unfortunately, items may be delayed for a variety of reasons beyond our control. You may cancel a delayed item, without incurring any re-stocking fees, at your discretion, or wait for it to arrive.

Insurance

All parcels are fully insured until they are delivered to you. Parcels are covered by us whilst still at our warehouse and by the courier once it has been dispatched. You take responsibility and ownership of the parcel when signing for it on delivery.

Returns

Please refer to our Shipping & Returns policies. maktechict.co.za adheres to all manufacturer warranties, as specified on the website. These warranties are normally limited to repair, replacement or refund of the items, as may be determined by our suppliers. User inflicted physical damage will invalidate the warranty. Determination of user inflicted physical damage is at the sole discretion of ourselves, and our suppliers and their agents will determine at their discretion if any item has been damaged by the user.

Cancellations

Items ordered may be cancelled at any time, unless otherwise stipulated. maktechict.co.za reserves the right to withhold a 10% restocking fee for any items cancelled by you, after payment has been received.

maktechict.co.za may cancel any order at any time for any reason. Should maktechict.co.za cancel an order after you’ve made payment you will be credited or refunded in full, according to your preference.

Payments

Payment options provided are listed in our Help. These options are subject to change and may be discontinued or replaced without notice.

When paying by Credit Card we will debit the card immediately upon your order being approved by our administration. All orders are subject to approval by maktechict.co.za and are checked for your, and our protection, against our fraud protocols. As part of such a process, you may be requested to provide additional information to verify your identification.

If payment has not been received within 7 days the order may be cancelled without notice.

Competitions
Where competitions are run on the site, maktechict.co.za and its employees will be the sole judge of deciding the winner.

Coupons

maktechict.co.za has various partnerships, some of which offer Discount Coupons. When such Coupons are offered the following Terms and conditions apply :

– Coupons may not be applied to clearance items
– If for any reason an order using a coupon cannot be fulfilled then you will only be credited or refunded for the amount you paid, not including the value of the coupon.
